I seriously didn't want this book to end and I sincerely hope that she carries on with the world of Wolf, Lyric, Mitch and all the other guys! Jul 28, Christine rated it it was amazing. I was not expecting what happened to happen. Emotions were all over the place The Stolen Melody Duet is hands down one of the best rockstar romances I've read. Lyric and Wolf are simply amazing - loved watching their love story unfold.

I enjoyed every minute of this story - the ending was absolutely perfect! Jul 12, Sue rated it it was amazing. Destined Hearts by K. Allen is book 2 in the A Stolen Melody Duet. There are a lot of good authors but few are great and K. Allen is one of the greats. She has a way of writing that takes your breath away. Five Stars The rating is for the entire duet. I'm a sucker for rockstars and I could't put this duet down. Just the right amount of angst to keep me going.

Such a great story. So far this author has yet to disappoint me. In this, the conclusion to the duet that started with Dangerous Hearts we pick up exactly where we left off. Lyric has left the tour after all the drama, and publicity with her Ex. We watch as she returns to the tour and Wolf and Lyric try to learn to trust one another. I enjoyed this even more than the first story, it was angstier, we got to see Lyric's back story, and the reason for her strained relationships with her parents. I really loved the suspense element in this book, it kept things exc In this, the conclusion to the duet that started with Dangerous Hearts we pick up exactly where we left off.

I really loved the suspense element in this book, it kept things exciting and pacy at the end. Jul 26, Cyndi Becker rated it it was amazing Shelves: Not until she fully trusts me. Wolf and Lyric captured me from chapter one in Dangerous Hearts and we were left at such a critical moment when Dangerous Hearts ended. Allen did a great service "I might love her more than she loves me. Allen did a great service in picking up pretty much right where it left off and wasted no time letting us back into Wolf and Lyrics heads and hearts.

There is a lot of reflecting on both their parts, how and why the fell for each other and reasoning through the fiery crash of circumstances that separated them. Destined Hearts is very much a story about a young woman working through the childhood disappointments and hurts and finding forgiveness where is was due not that it's always earned nor given.

But trying is was the only way she would ever move forward. She has to give up the pain that she holds in, and give over trust. I thought it was a beautiful story, how she expresses herself on what support she needs from her friends, her family and ultimately Wolf. Wolf is amazing and I fell harder for him then I had before.

His response to Lyric, what he see's in her and what he does with that, his response to her displays that elusive unconditional love that will heal Lyric. I felt my tummy tingling at their possibility, how they give each other reason to hope. What challenges them now comes pretty much from outside influences.

There's a bit of a mystery that leads to some incredibly tense moments and made me so very anxious. I found myself incorrectly and sometime correctly guessing where the story was going. More importantly just how the characters would react. I also found myself rather proud of both Lyric and Wolf. What I really love was seeing the growth as individuals and as a couple. Wolf and Lyric are one of my favorite couples and I find K. Allen to be an exquisite storyteller. Jul 25, Eileen Robinson rated it it was amazing Shelves: The first book left me gasping for more.

I most definitely was not disappointed, Yet again this author captured me emotionally and mentally immediately. This couple are just so easy to get totally wrapped up in.

How Do the Pure in Heart See God?

Well, i can barely put into words how caught up in this book i was. Both Lyric and Wolf just got deep into my heart, I loved their relationship so much, none of the usual rock star being a douche and a play boy. Although at times he was a bit of an ass, No cheating and throwing other people in each others faces.

I hated some of the sleaze balls around them who wanted to destroy them and my emotions were most definitely at boiling point, only to be melted to a puddle in the next few lines by Wolf and his dedication to Lyric. Yes this author fully engages you in every aspect from their life, and you will devour every single moment of it and not want it to end!!

This is most definitely one of the best Rock Star books i have read and will definitely have its place in my top ten! Jul 31, S. Shade rated it it was amazing Shelves: I received a copy of this book for an honest review. I always find myself having trouble getting into a followup book, mainly because in most cases the second book is never as good as the first. Allen however, blew me away with this one! I again, like the first book, found that I could not put this book down! I absolutely adore these characters. Wolf and Lyric are seriously the sexiest power couple I think I have ever read.

I loved witnessing these two fight every obstacle that stood in thei I received a copy of this book for an honest review. I loved witnessing these two fight every obstacle that stood in their path only to make them stronger in the end. In this book Lyric's past comes back to bite her in the butt and threatens everything she has worked so hard for. Only this time she is not the young naive girl she once was and it's not just her that has something to lose. With Wolf by her side she is ready to make a stand and fight for what is rightfully hers. Lyric was a lot more vulnerable in this book.

It was great to see this side of her, I felt this made her more relatable and likable as a character. Wolf, who is probably one of my all time favorite heroes to date is still as his name implies, all alpha male. I absolutely love his character. I also loved the fact that we got more information on some previous characters from the first book and am hoping for some follow up books on other members of the band. Jul 25, Jennifer Zamboni rated it it was amazing Shelves: Destined Hearts, what shall I say?

First off, I think Ms. This book returns to Lyric and Wolf as they try and reconcile the ending of Dangerous Hearts. These people throw themselves back in together. They have to figure out where they stand with each other once more and lay all their secrets out on the table, especially Lyric , who is still struggling her pas Destined Hearts, what shall I say? They have to figure out where they stand with each other once more and lay all their secrets out on the table, especially Lyric , who is still struggling her past.

So not for the younger fans of Ms. Allen's Summer Solstice series! I love how Wolf and Lyric communicate. Yes, it takes a while for Lyric to get everything out, but she does it well before the end. Also have to mention Terese, everyone should have a friend like her in their lives, someone who will give it to them straight. Lastly, Crawley, such a creep well done!

Now you try not to! As for the end, wow! Lyric is no damsel in distress, she's a kick-ass heroine! Way to go, Ms. I received an advanced viewer copy I also preordered the kindle version and NEED the paperback on my shelf! I can't wait for another K. My rockstar soul is full of love Wolf and Lyric story is so perfect, so passionate and so full of fire that i was crying in the end. You don't need a tragedy so you can cry, you just need passion that can consume your heart and own your emotions. K Allen is an author that ripped my heart and made it whole again.

I loved this book so hard, when I finished the former book, I went to buy this one, I can't remember the last time that an author made me feel like this, like I needed to read this.

Destined Hearts (A Stolen Melody Duet, #2) by K.K. Allen

The story between Wolf and Lyric are just too good to be miss.. I have been dreading.. I need to blow some cold air everytime i read between this couple..

I always looking one step ahead when Im reading your book.. Jul 27, Joan Gallo rated it it was amazing. I don't know how she does it. KK Allen has seriously become one of my favorite authors. I was excited she was branching out and trying her hand at writing something edgy and I'm so glad she did. I love a good rock star book, but sometimes they get boring. It's gets to be the same story and predictable.

All of her work is fresh and exciting. She doesn't repeat things you may if read in another book. First off dangerous hearts was amazing and I was so glad I don't know how she does it. First off dangerous hearts was amazing and I was so glad there was going to be a duet to it. I seriously counted down the days till this was released.

I was worried this book might fall flat compared to the first. Who was I kidding. It was glued to my hands and I devoured every single word. Wolf and lyric are so hot together. My heart was pounding. This book will keep glued to the pages not wanting to come up for air or look away and the twists and turns that just keep on rolling will have you screaming at the screen and cursing K. The plot and the story flow with effortless perfection Destined hearts book 2 in the stolen melody duet and just simply lost for words this has been a book that has consumed me, devoured my heart made me fall harder in love with wolf, want to reach into the pages and hug lyric and knock a few others senseless.

Let me illustrate

The plot and the story flow with effortless perfection, a perfect ending to an amazing duet. An angst filled, set your kindle on fire play music to your soul kinda read. Jul 15, Chassidy rated it it was amazing. My heart is so entirely full after reading this. I had so many emotions. I felt their pain, sorrow, and happiness. I couldn't read it fast enough! I'm so sad their story is over! But it is most definitely worth the read! Destined Hearts began where Dangerous Hearts ended with Lyric running away from Wolf after Tony caused a scene and created a media circus of lies.

Destined Hearts and Dangerous Hearts was a rock duet that focused primarily on building a sexual connection between two characters whose parents were influential to them in the music industry. Both story's were sexually driven with minimal musical subject matter. Trust was a huge factor for Lyric to overcome with Wolf's r Stolen melody Trust was a huge factor for Lyric to overcome with Wolf's rockstar status. He had to prove to her he could change his playboy ways. Love was reserved for few women in Wolf's life until Lyric showed him with her talented body how easily she could slip into his world.

Fixing things with Wolf would mean divulging why I hold so much resentment toward my parents, especially my mother. I just want to forget the past. This premise carried on for the first half of the story. When the secret was finally revealed it was quite anticlimactic as I suspected it would be. Allen built an entire second book on the notion that Lyric was under the thumb of her parents fame, name, and popularity in the music industry.

The characters repeatedly made time for sex, but quickly made excuses to not ruin the moment with talk about Lyric's secret. Book 2 was an extension of book 1 repeating the same scenes. Very little growth between the main characters unless you count sex as growth. The minor characters didn't add much to the development of the story. I found at twenty-four Lyric should have addressed the issues with her parents long before meeting Wolf. Lyric knew enough people in the industry to help her resolve the issues that she allowed to define her.

Lyric's resistance to ignore her issues just made her appear weak not strong. The execution of this story was weak with too much emphasis being placed on sex. I expected something completely different from what KK Allen delivered. If you took the sex away from these story's there wouldn't be much substance worth reading. I had hoped for a better read considering Up in the Treehouse was an exceptional read with substance. Towards the end it didn't like the direction the story headed going into a legal battle with Crawley.

This wasn't the story I anticipated. Unfortunately, I skimmed the book hoping for some improvement. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Named the Queen of Angst by her readers, K. Purity of heart is absolute in that Christians are forever forgiven because they've received the life that comes from believing in Jesus as Savior.
