Although I'm biased because I do research in this area and it's hard to find a book more perfectly focused on my interests than this, it did try to look at the text with a critical eye.

Resource Limit Is Reached

Ward and Morris, the editors, have worked in this research area for many years and have the experience to know what is needed in such an edited book. The selection of the chapters contributors might be criticized as being a little UK-centric, the contributors are nonetheless all experienced researchers.

The strongest point is the choice of chapter topics with coverage of cognitive topics such as working memory and executive function, of basic theoretical topics such as planning in both well-defined and ill-defined domaines, and of coverage of neurological aspects. There was a chapter covering development of aging, but what was certainly missing was planning of children, my only disappointment in the volume.
